Life goes on and all that good stuff. Guess what? We bought another house. It's super near our house, and was a good deal!
Good deal means it needs a boatload of work.
For real, the foundation is on various blocks. There's a different flooring in every room. The bathroom will have to be gutted. We've done it all before. The little house will be a nice rental. It's got major cottage-cute factor. Plus it has a fab garden! Old fruit trees, lilacs and roses. There's even hydrangeas in front of the cottage.
Original metal cabinets in the kitchen are super neat. They need to be refinished, good plan to stay money ahead. Stock cabinets cost alot these days!
There are alot of cute little sheds in the garden. The red one is a chicken coop! You know what that means...henny penny might move in.
A major bonus? It comes with a guest cabin (above).
Which needs even more work. I told the house we're going to make the place super spiffy. Yeah, I talk to houses. I don't think that's weird. It's a neat piece of property that has history. It will be neat to see it cleaned up. I think I may even keep the guest cabin kitchen that pretty sunny yellow shade. Pretty curtains, and voila! Awesome.
As you can see....we need to do a bit of cleanup.
Game on!

Oh wow, it looks wonderful!!! Isn't it strange how sometimes you get an uneasy feeling about a place, and sometimes very happy and harmonious..
Have fun!
Love it, so much possibility! I'm looking forward to seeing the project(s) unfold...and the chickens!
