Paint and the domino effect

Breath-Taking View (blue) by Columbia, and Irish Mist by Behr. I've been calling the blue Don Draper Blue. It looks like a color in his office.

The blue looks so amazing. I wasn't sure at first, having two walls with it, really makes the bedroom awesome.

Big & little. These are essential for cutting in. Painstaking slow work, where the walls meet with the ceiling. The walls aren't perfect, so it's slow going.

Irish Mist. I like it! I'll be glad to quit playing musical furniture soon. The table with the computer is going, I have to move data off it...then it's getting recycled.

This sweet little chest is getting painted bright tangerine. A exclamation point among all the blue, grey and white.

Paint one room, and the whole house needs to be redone. I knew it. Five years ago, I told the painters two coats! They swore they only bought enough paint for one. It only needs one they said.

Bullshit! I knew it then, and I know it now. Everything that has one coat, got dinged up. It didn't wear as well. So Howard, and Di, you were so wrong...and the customer was so right. Back then, were were in a timeline crunch to get moved in. So, we had to bite the bullet and live with one coat.

The good news is the living room, and kitchen are the same color. The ceiling the same too. I could knock them both out in a week.

The bedroom...not as easy. With the two wall colors, plus ceiling there's three colors in there. The good news, is I am almost done!!
