My First Raglan!

I picked this cute sweater because it was a combo between a sweater and a poncho!

 I cast on the other day for my first raglan sweater! It's a child size. I am so excited, and a little scared. You can't progress as a knitter unless you challenge yourself. It's a pattern, and it needs to be followed!

The pattern is amazing, it's also free! It's called Paint Me A Sweater, and is available via Ravelry. It is by Elena Nodel....here is a direct link to her blog. I am using Patons Classic Wool, in the gray marled color. I overdyed it with turquoise and violet using Jacquard acid dyes. It's knitting up fast on #7 needles.
